Anthony (Tony) Tommasino

Tony Tommasino, 51, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 after a tragic accident.
He leaves behind his wife of 26 years, Roxanne (Darby) Tommasino; son, Michael Tommasino; daughter, Shaina Tommasino; both of his parents, Mario and Italia Tommasino; sister, Gina Tommasino; brother, Louis Tommasino and brother, Alex Tommasino.
Tony was born in Cleveland, OH on May 19, 1965, raised in Broomfield, CO where he graduated from High School and then enlisted in the US Navy where he served 6 years and learned his trade in field of aircraft maintenance. Tony is a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University where he studied and received his degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He has spent the last 30 years of his life working in the field of aviation and he absolutely loved it, it was his passion.
Tony was in love with life, he loved the outdoors, camping, riding his off road vehicles, going to the lake, was an avid sportsman and loved his Denver Broncos football team. He loved Country music and his country as he was extremely patriotic. He was a family man and adored his wife and children, thoroughly enjoying every minute he had with them. He could fix anything and would help anyone if asked. He was a good and loyal husband, father and friend to many. He will be sorely missed.
Viewing, visitation and Vigil will be held at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary in Scottsdale on Thursday April 27, 2017 from 5pm-8pm with the Vigil starting at 7pm.
Mass will be held at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church in Scottsdale on Friday,
April 28, 2017 at 10am with the procession afterward to the National Cemetery where he will be laid to rest.
