Mario loved life. He loved his friends and family. He was always the life of the party. Mario was a true lover of the arts and was a passionate patron of the opera and the theatre in New York, London and Arizona. He saw many of the greats on Broadway and at the Metropolitan Opera. He especially loved Italian Opera. He shared his love of the arts with family and friends and introduced many of his younger cousins and relatives to the theatre.
Himself a singer, Mario’s beautiful baritone voice is captured on a few charts that he was always too humble to play for those he met. He continued to the end to enjoy singing karaoke at family gatherings.
Mario was a gifted storyteller and shared many of his cultural experiences at family functions. His incredible memory afforded him unofficial title of family historian. He lit up a room with his bellowing laugh.
