Preplanning Funeral Consultant
After graduating from Butler University with a BA in Psychology and French, Duane graduated from Indiana Mortuary College (now MidAmerica). He has continued his education with graduate courses in grief and received his CFSP (Certified Funeral Service Practitioner) designation. After 44 years of helping families heal and deal with the most tragic time in their lives, Duane is most ready to share his own experiences with death and help others on the healthy growth path of life. From funeral directing, to preplanning funerals, to cemetery, Duane has been involved in all aspects of the funeral profession having been with the Hansen family for 20 years. Duane and his wife Barb are active members of their parish, St. Bernadette, and Duane is a Past Grand Knight and 4th degree Knight of Columbus. He and Barb are kept busy with their 7 children, 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Duane enjoys reading, needlepointing, swimming, and traveling with his family.
