Please respect the following guidelines which are designed to keep our cemetery grounds beautiful and respectful for all the families we serve.
All decorations must be unbreakable and must be placed upon the memorial stone only. At no time will glass, ceramic, breakable items, trees, shrubs, banners, items over 3 feet tall, temporary and/or homemade headstones be permitted on gravesites or niches. Decorations placed in the grass will be discarded. No items are permitted to be attached to a wall or building. These items will be promptly removed to ensure the safety of visitors and our grounds crew. Fresh and artificial flowers should be placed in cemetery approved vases. Please be sure to secure all flowers in the vases with Styrofoam or something similar to prevent them from being blown away.
Each memorial stone is permitted the following:
- 1 (one) 8” unbreakable pot which will be placed on the memorial stone
- 1 (one) decorative stake with one (1) hook or decoration, no taller than 3ft and placed next to the memorial stone border
- 1 (one) solar light/lantern
- The above 3 bullet points are not applicable in family estate and bench estate burial areas.
Special Occasion and Holiday Flowers may be placed on the gravesites 7 calendar days before the holiday and must be removed be the 7th calendar day after the holiday. The only exception is for Christmas decorations which may be placed starting November 15th. The items must be taken down by January 7th or they will be removed and discarded. Christmas trees may NOT exceed the 3ft decoration height restriction and must be placed on the memorial stone, not in the grass.
The cemetery staff shall have the authority to remove all decorations as they become unsightly, in excess, dangerous or when they do not conform to the standards maintained in the entire cemetery. These items shall be disposed of by the cemetery in any manner it sees fit.
All niches and mausoleum spaces do not allow photographs, flowers, letters or stickers to be taped on them. These items will be removed by the cemetery crew. All flowers are to be in cemetery vases or placed by the fountain inside the atrium or by the bench near outside niches.
In addition to the above regulations, we will perform a general cleanup of the cemetery grounds twice a year. We will clean once in the fall when we over seed for winter grass and again in the spring when we transition to summer grass. Signs will be placed 2 weeks prior to cleanup to notify all families. There will be no other notice given in regards to the cleanup times.
We would like to remind families that if an item is precious to you, valuable or has sentimental value, the cemetery is not appropriate for its placement. The cemetery assumes no responsibility for lost or damaged items.
