Benjamin (Ben) Ross Peter, 27, of Scottsdale, Arizona, died peacefully on March 1, 2019 surrounded by his family and friends. He was born March 19, 1991 in Phoenix, Arizona, the youngest son of Bradford (deceased) and Nancy Peter. He graduated Horizon High School in 2009 where he participated in soccer and cross-country, and he graduated from Arizona State University in 2016. He worked for Secure Estate Management in Phoenix as an office manager.
Ben was known to have a passion for sports. At an early age, he grew up playing baseball and soccer. At home, a game was usually on in the background, and he loved analyzing the latest games with his Uncle Mike and grandfather, Herbert. Of course, Ben’s favorite team was the Nebraska Cornhuskers!
Ben was also a meticulous young man. Whether it was the artful socks he wore, the TV shows he watched over and OVER again, or the limited selection of food he ate, Ben knew what he liked. What he loved most was to spend time with his family and his many friends. Ben had a sarcastic wit with a soft heart.
Ben was preceded in death by his father Bradford; maternal grandfather Dwight Wilberger; paternal grandmother Marilynn Peter. Ben is survived by his mother Nancy and her partner Joseph Mclaughlin; older brother Corey and his fiancée Merry Yannace; paternal grandfather Herbert Peter; maternal grandmother Betty Wilberger; uncles Michael (Janet) Wilberger and Richard (Renee) Wilberger; aunt Brenda (Keith) Bohaty; cousins Jordan (Jon) Sauer, Trey (Morgan) Wilberger, Blake Wilberger, Bree (Colton) Koncak and Brent (Katelyn) Bohaty. His loss will be mourned by all those who knew and loved him.
