Charlene Parks passed away peacefully on May 18, 2019 at Clare Bridge Memory Care Center at Brookdale North Scottsdale in Scottsdale Arizona. She was born October 29, 1931 in Oakley Kansas. She is preceded in death by her parents Hayes & Twila Marion, her daughter Cheryl Miller, her granddaughter Maggie Miller and her ex-husbands Robert Kleven & Joseph Parks. She is a loving Mother of four living children & their spouses, Jerry & Julie Kleven, Ron & Charlene Abeyta, Brad & Sharon Kleven and Kent & Darcy Kleven. She is survived by her brother & his wife, Jerry & Sonia Marion, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren & many nieces & nephews. Charlene was extremely generous with her time, talents & treasures and was devoted to her family, in so many ways. She loved to bake, crochet, knit, paint ceramics & passed many of her talents to her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. She owned & operated a construction business in California & enjoyed owning & racing thoroughbred horses. Her all-time favorite was to shop, shop, shop…..who didn’t love shopping with Mom/Grammy/GG. She is woven in the fabric of our lives & will be deeply missed.
