My heart is broken.
I just found out today that my dear friend has passed away .
Hugh and I were engaged 1992-94 and kept in touch atleast 5-10 times a year for the past 20 plus years
We would catch up on what was happening in our lives and I often lectured him about his lifestyle choices , because i wanted him to find peace , and true love in his life
Hughs emotional and physical heath was always my concern
I loved hugh in so many ways and could never lose touch with him regardless of what was going on
I kind of felt like we grew up together and I never wanted to lose touch with my dear friend
For anyone that has a Christain background in the family I want you to know that Hugh did know the Lord
Back in 2005 hugh was going through yet another heartbreaking loss in his life
Listening to Hugh sobbing was heartbreaking
After hours of talking with hugh i prayed with him
Later i asked if i could send him a bible and some Christain books and he agreed
Later that week Hugh called me choked up thanking me for the bible and the books
He started to cry and told me he accepted the Lord into his heart along with a bunch other revalations he was having
My Dear friend was broken in his heart and his lifestyle at times dictated that .
Regardless he was a kind man who loved his family , his cats aka children and took care of people he trusted which were very few from what he told me
I always prayed for my dear friend and kept track of how he was doing
The last time I spoke with Hugh was at Christams 2017 prior to yet another big vacation he was going on .
My prayers are with Hughs brother neices and nephews
My Dear friend you are now with your sister , mother , father and friends lost in the last ten years … even boots the cat !
I will miss your funny laugh and sence of humor .. the funny sound affects for every situation , nicknames for everyone you knew
Listening to what amazing meal you were cooking in the crockpot or grill
I drove by your house today remembering every moment we had together and cried
I will miss you my dear friend
Love ,
Debbie aka The Bear ( Hughs nickname for me )

Not sure if this is the same person but I had a good friend named Hugh Crow in Phoenix and have not been able to get ahold of him in a while… and hoping that he has not passed. Could you please provide a link to the Facebook page (I could not find it) or email me at: joe AT joea DOT com?

Thanks, Joe Abrahamson Phoenix
