James Anthony Williams, fondly remembered as “Tony,” was born on December 2, 1962 to Gloria Williams and raised, from the age of 2, by his adoptive parents, David and Ida Roland.
Tony attended Sullivan Elementary and Carl Hayden High School in Phoenix and completed one year at Maricopa Community College before joining the U.S. Navy in 1982, where he proudly served for 10 years. Following his tenure in the Service, he embarked on a rewarding career in the automotive sales industry with more than 20 years of sales and executive experience. Surrounded by his children, on March 25, 2019, he completed his assignment and went home to glory.
He will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his children: James Williams, Jr. (Lisa), Arron Williams, Ariel Pearson, Amber Robinson (Lavor), April Sanders Williams and Anthony James Williams; grandchildren: Lavor Robinson, Jr., Cameron Robinson, Christian Robinson and Nola Williams; siblings: Patricia, David Jr., Cassandra, Chonna, Lanetta, Danetta, Denzil, Eddie and Monique; and, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.Print Obituary & Condolences
