James “Jim” Michael Foxwell, 54, of Phoenix, AZ died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 31, 2019 in Phoenix.
Jim was born on July 24, 1964 in Okinawa, Japan to the late James F. and Ingrid Foxwell who were stationed there in the military at the time. He grew up in Floyd, NY and graduated from Holland Patent Central High School in 1982. He moved to Phoenix in 1985 and eventually became the face of Arizona Color, a vehicle wrap company out of Phoenix. Jim was full of life and loved anything outdoors, especially time at the lake with his Lake Pleasant family of friends and enjoyed a new passion for collecting and shooting firearms. He was loved by all for his big heart, infectious smile and joy of life. Those that met him couldn’t help but instantly like him.
Jim is survived by two sisters, Karen Bedenbaugh (Toby) of Six Mile, SC and Kristi Johnson (Jeff) of Floyd, NY; one brother, Erik Foxwell (Stephanie) of Floyd, NY; four nephews, Andy and Brandon Johnson both of Floyd, NY and Carson and Nolan Bedenbaugh of Six Mile, SC; one niece, Hanna Foxwell of Floyd, NY.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Dillon’s Bayou at Lake Pleasant Harbor, 40202 N. 87th Ave, Peoria, AZ 85383, as well as in Floyd, NY at 7:00 PM at JBTs on Saturday, February 16, 2019. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jim’s life. The family will have a private burial.
