Condolences for the family of “James Ybarra”

Condolence from Anonymous on December 30th, 2011 12:00 am

Jim was a colleague of mine at Trevor Browne in the English Dept. We were in adjoining room only separated by a wood wall. At first they did not have doors on the classrooms. Jim said that sometimes when he heard me teaching something that would benefit his class, he would tell the class to listen. Jim was a great friend. We had many laughs. He enjoyed life. I respected him. He had a terrible tragedy early in his married life, but he bore as best he could. He was great example of what a teacher should be. The profession needs more teachers like Jim.
