Kathy Ann Bouise passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Granby, Missouri on July 27, 1945 to Raymond and Hannah English, she graduated from Neosho High School and went on to graduate from St. Luke’s Hospital of Nursing, the College of St. Francis and the University of Missouri with a Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling in Kansas City, Missouri. Kathy dedicated over 50 years of her life to nursing, the last 20 at St.Luke’s Behavioral Health Center in Phoenix, Arizona where she received RN of the year in 2004 and the Chairman’s Award in 2013. She was a Vincentian and believed that we are called to serve those suffering and in need in our communities and around the world. Kathy inspired all of us with her generous spirit, kind smile and servant’s heart. “Mima” was also a member of the Phoenix Art Guild and loved to paint, sew, make crafts with her grandkids and travel.
Kathy is survived by her daughter Suzanne (Chris) Kramer of Phoenix, sons Craig (Pam) Bouise, Jr. of Kansas City and Bryan Bouise of Phoenix, her six grandchildren Brooke, Troy, Erika, Kandace, Jalyn and Ashly and sisters Rita (Gerald) Carpenter of Overland Park, KS and Pam (Bud) Williamson of Wilmington, DE. She was preceded in death by her husband, Craig, her brother, James David, sisters, Janet and Patricia and her parents.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 20, from 2:00-4:00PM at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N. 7th Street, Phoenix, AZ, 85020. The Funeral service is Monday, January 21, 10:00AM, at Most Holy Catholic Parish, 8620 N. 7th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85020.
