Lilyan DeFranco passed away peacefully on May 24th, 2019 at the age of 102. She was the widow of Mario DeFranco. They shared 66 years of marriage. Lilyan was born in Cleveland, Ohio and was the daughter of Lucia and Nichola DiRocco. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and a sister (Ralph DiRocco, Guido DiRocco and Lucille Hocevar). She attended high school and was a member of the choir. She was mainly a housewife and had a few part-time jobs as a salesperson and a receptionist. She enjoyed singing, painting and crafts. She made beautiful beaded necklaces and Rosaries. She will be remembered for her generosity, humor, strength and story telling. She always looked elegant and stylish. She is survived by her daughter Janet Loops, son-in-law Lester Loops, 3 grandsons (Greg Loops, Chris Loops and Marcus Feldman) and 6 great grandchildren.
A private memorial will be held in California for the immediate family.
