Our sweet daughter Natalie’s life was cut very short on Thursday January 17th…having finally gotten her life on track with so many possibilities ahead of her. Natalie was born with a great spirit and quick smile and laugh. She went to Madison Meadows grade school and graduated from Chaparral High School in 1998. After high school Natalie took off for Santa Barbara and attended SBCC for a time…though that was to be short lived. She moved back to the Valley and worked various jobs, always hoping for inspiration for a career. Natalie loved music and was the DJ for us every year when we went to Mission Beach…she loved the beach! One passion that Natalie did have was cooking…she was an excellent cook and enjoyed researching recipes, shopping, preparations and the joy of getting kudos for her efforts. Just recently she spent 4 days preparing a fabulous Christmas dinner of individual beef Wellington’s with a demi-glace reduction.
Natalie had her share of demons that she fought but had finally found a peace in life. She always loved being around her family, especially finding special joy with her Niece, Reagan. Our hearts are so heavy…Natalie brought a specialness to the family. She had a gift of giving herself and loving that she shared with so many people. She loved being a caretaker – and if it wasn’t too early in the morning she had a smile on her face and would be reading some special passage about life and its meaning. Natalie had her “spot” outside where she started her day – and ended it. We know she is at peace and brightening up heaven with her smile. She is survived by her parents, Margaret & David Mount, a sister Christine Mount Riley and her husband Joey Riley, brother Jared Mount and her special niece Reagan Riley.
We are planning a celebration of life for Natalie at our home on January 27, 2019 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, if you are inclined, help the PALS organization, www.palgroup.org Visit www.hansenmortuary.com for online condolences.Print Obituary & Condolences
