Posted By Carrie Franklin On June 7, 2019 @ 8:28 am In Obituaries | 23 Comments

With the deepest sorrow, we announce that Nathan R. Llanos, our beloved Son, Brother, Father, Fiancée, Family Member and Friend, passed suddenly on June 2, 2019.

Those who knew Nathan, even just a little, lost a great friend in their lives. The relationship he had with his Parents, Siblings, Family and Friends, was not like any other.

Nathan will be missed everyday by his Parents, Carlos Llanos & Linda Kinslinger, his loving Co-Parents Rick and Jodie, his Brothers Anthony and Michael and Sister Sonya, his Daughter Charlotte, his Fiancée Ashley Lynn, his Grandmothers Rachel and Hap, his many Cousins, Uncles, Aunts, Nieces & Nephews, and many great Friends.

We know Nathan is now with his Grandfathers Carlos Llanos Sr. & Douglas Mikus, as well as his Aunt, Uncle, Great Grand Parents and his dear Friends Adam Gibson and Daniel DeCesare. Nathan is loved deeply here on Earth as well as in Heaven.

The short time with Nathan was not enough, though his memories will live on forever. We all will miss his deep love and commitment for his Family, Friends, Fellow Soldiers, and his Country.

Nathan grew up in Phoenix and made wonderful memories with so many wonderful people. He served his country proudly and was raising a beautiful Daughter. His contagious smile, warm hugs, composure, and friendship will forever be in our hearts.

We LOVE and MISS you so much XOXO!

Funeral Service for Nathan will be held at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary on Monday, June 10, 2019 at 7:00 PM.
A Private Interment will be Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix. (Private for Family Only)

Condolence from James Monte on June 7th, 2019 11:02 am

I’ve know Nate since middle school. Over the years we have experienced life’s ups and downs, through great times and bad he was always there. As we look at old memories it reminds me of what a goofy and loving friend he was! We grew up together. From wild young bucks to responsible parents. He left us all too soon. I promise to share all the memories we have with Charlotte so she knows just what an amazing person you were. I will always miss you my friend.

Nothing Gold Can Stay
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Enough said he was Gold
All my love to you all
Robin
