Mary Elizabeth McFarland, of Glendale, Arizona, passed away December 20, 2009 at the age of 57. She was born in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Edward and Josephine (Kania) Piegzik. She moved to AZ in 1977 where she was a manager with the Postal Service. She is survived by her fiancee’ Les Beaman, brothers John, James and Joseph Piegzik, beloved pets Cooper & Jasmine (Peanut), numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N. 7th ’St., Phoenix, AZ. Donations can be made to the Golden Retriever Rescue.
