Vesta M. Childress a native of Arizona, passed away on January 24, 2010 at the age of 88. She is survived by her 5 children, Judy Smith, Thomas Roberts, Donald Roberts, Sherry Jasper, and Candy Sleeper, 14 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Vesta was an active member of Bible Baptist Church. A visitation will be at 11:30 am, followed by services at 12:00 noon on Thursday, January 28, at Bible Baptist Church, 2320 N,. 7th Street, Phoenix. The family has requested donations be made to Bible Baptist Church, in-lieu of flowers. Arrangements by Hansen Mortuary.
