Hughes, Naomi G. "Toni" of Glendale, AZ passed away on January 29, 2010 at John C. Lincoln Hospital North Mountain. She was born in Canon City, CO on October 8, 1944. As a youth, she was an accomplished musician, playing both piano and violin. She graduated from high school in La Junta, CO in 1962, where she lettered in music. She later attended college in CO. Toni spent her adult life in the Phoenix, AZ area. During her working years, she was an office administrator, a vice president for Junior Achievement of AZ, and a swimming pool service company owner. During her later years, she was an avid cook, painter, and genealogist. Toni also was a devoted wife to her husband of 40 years, Joe P. Hughes of Glendale, who preceded her in death in September 2009. No services will be held. Her final resting place will be with Joe at the National Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix. She is survived by a brother, Edward Lee Young of Roseburg, OR.
