Simis, Richard III 76, passed away on February 1, 2010 following a lengthy illness. He was born in Phoenix on March 15, 1933. Dick was a long time insurance agent and owner of Simis Insurance Agency. Dick is survived by a large and loving family including his wife of 31 years LaVonne and children; Cindy Anderson(Andy), Vicky Stritch (Garrett), Richard, Mimi Hill (Jeff), Allen (Kathleen) and Philip (Suzanne); stepsons Joel and Nathaniel Simcoe (Jennifer), 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A Mass and celebration of his life will be held on Friday, February 5, 2010, 10:30 am, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church 8620 N. 7th St. Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Arizona Cancer Center @ The University of Arizona Medical Center Research Dept. P.O. Box 245013 Tucson, AZ 85724-5013.
