Mike was an incredible man who truly thought of others first. He undoubtedly loved my mom to a degree that’s hard to match. He always treated myself and my family with ultimate respect. The one thing I will never forget about Mike is the way he treated my kids. He absolutely loved them. We are already missing him. My heartfelt condolences to rest of the family.

Mike was truly a great friend and he was my best friend from DeLaSalle High School Days, starting at the beginning of our junior years. Mike was always there when needed and we had great and memorable fun together. We always stuck together, as true friends do. I remember Mike driving his maroon bomber into a big puddle by Lake Calhoun, which turned out to be a small lake. He spent a week opening up the motor at his uncle's place, to get it dried out. We raided his mother's sour cream pies and my mother's roast beef. We had fun with our wives, specially on St. Patrick's Day, when I always made him an Honorary Irishman! There was fun & good laughs about Mike in the Coasties & me in the Jarheads. Susan, we've loved you from the day we met you and also know how precious you were to Mike. We miss him with you and share your sorrow, but we know we'll all be together with him one day in Heaven. God's best is truly yet to come!! Love & Hugs, Gene & Lorri

my family grew up with Mike and his family in our neighborhood . Bill and Mike went to The same high school in Minneapolis and both of us ended up in Arizona. He always kept in touch with us and ended up a year ago met for lunch with other friends from school and we met Susan for the first time. These past few weeks I kept thinking of them and needed to call them to see how Mike was doing and wanted to ask Susan how I can find where I can buy her music. I regret not following through with it and my heart and prayers for you Susan and family Shalom, Jo Anne

I first met Mike when he arrived for an interview with my late husband, David Mahmood, at Brown & Bigelow in St. Paul, MN circa 1970’s. Mike got the job and through all the years after both David and Mike left Brown & Bigelow, they remained friends. I have so many fond memories of Mike with David over the past 40 plus years. We always enjoyed our visits and dinners in Minnesota, Seattle and lastly in Dallas where it was hard to get a word in edge-wise with those two at the table. Mike never missed sending anniversary and birthday wishes through all these years -- always so kind and thoughtful. He was always cheerful and never had a bad word to say about anyone. Susan, I am so very sorry for your loss; he will be missed by all. May he rest in peace.

I LOVE this picture of Mike - exactly the way I will always remember him and think of him with his smiling face and his red cherry cheeks! We have known each other for over 30 years, and even though we met in the business world, we remained friends even after we retired. I will miss the faithful phone calls he would make to wish me a Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary, Happy whatever the holiday happened to be throughout the year. And we would have lunch in March for his birthday and again in August for my birthday so we could catch up on what was going on in our lives. I know when he gets up to heaven he will be quick to gather those he knew and loved and he will seek out my Mom who got there before him in 2018, and he will introduce himself, and keep her entertained for hours, the way we all know Mike LOVED to talk. He was a true friend and I will miss him greatly. So sorry for your loss, Susan. And condolences to all his family and loved ones. Although we never met (except for Mark) I knew you through the words of pride and love that he shared when he spoke of you. Be at peace.
