June 07, 2021
Ann Farwell Parsons Kisicki, after a long and fulfilling life, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2021 at the age of 90. She and her husband, Paul Joseph Kisicki, Jr., shared 64 years of love, family, music and dancing before his passing in 2015. Thereafter, she remained a proud matriarch of the beautiful and close family they created together.
She was born in Los Angeles, California a fact she was always proud to share because it was quite rare in 1930. Always an independent woman, after years of taking care of her beloved children when they were young, she worked establishing a career as a legal secretary and making lifelong friends along the way.
Grandma Annie Girl, Paul's pet name for her that stuck within the family, had an affinity for pictures, cards, dogs and texting with those she loved. She also had a knack for always being the most fashionably dressed person in the room. But of all the things she loved, nothing could ever compare to her family. Friday evening dinners and Sunday brunches were the highlights of every week.
She is survived by her children Geralyn, Mark and Mary Ellen, their spouses Tom, Shauna and Steve; by her grandchildren Jason and his wife Amy, Rebecca and her spouse Kyle, and Kyle, Anya, and Luke, and her great-grandchildren Allysa, Breanna, Jonah and Scarlett.
Ann's memorial service will be at 9:00am at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary (6500 E Bell Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85254), followed by a internment at 11:30am at Holy Redeemer Cemetery (23015 Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024). A Celebration of Ann's Life will follow for those able to attend.
In lieu of sending flowers, please consider donations to the March of Dimes, or Easter Seals of Southern California, organizations that provided many years of care and comfort to Ann's oldest son Paulie who preceded her in death.
