Aaron Richard Widener
November 27, 1971 - June 25, 2021
Aaron Richard Widener age 49, passed away in Phoenix, AZ, on June 25, 2021.
He was born Nov. 27, 1971 in Orange, CA. Aaron spent his first 15 years in Memphis, TN and attended Christian Brothers High School. In 1988, Aaron and his family's passion for "lake life" led them to Heber Springs, AR, where he graduated from Heber Springs High in 1990. In 1995 Aaron followed his Dad's legacy and joined the Federal Express family in Phoenix, AZ. He was a proud 26 year employee as a FedEx ramp agent at the Phoenix Airport.
Aaron's love for family, friends, music, drums, his Bella, Foo Fighters, extreme skiing, sports and sunsets, were bound by grace and authenticity. If you were blessed to know him, you couldn't wait for the "Legendary Aaron hug". His hugs were infectious and at the center of his being, always pure of heart......never to be forgotten. His loving energy lit up the surrounding space with his electric smile and blue eyes. Aaron's actions were always so generous and kindhearted. He was always so anxious to please and he loved to make others happy with his witty charm. His deep spiritual connection to the southwest completed his life.
Aaron is survived by his parents Hal and Sandy Widener of Santa Fe, NM and birth-mom, Cielo Sand. Siblings: sister, Corey Eremea and brother, Jason Widener. Other family: Bill Lufkin, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Aaron requested to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
