Connie Lee Noice

Connie Lee Noice (71) of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on July 23, 2021. She was the daughter of Ruth Marten and Warren Wilson, born on May 5, 1950, in Wichita, Kansas. Connie earned her Bachelor of Science in education from Emporia State University and began a long teaching career, most notably at Sunnyslope High School, where she taught from 1974 until her retirement in 2004. After retirement, Connie was a frequent substitute teacher until February 2020. She was talented, nurturing, intelligent, and fun. Her many hobbies included cooking, sewing, reading, golfing, playing Mahjong, baking pies for book club, listening to country music, attending grandchildren's activities, and helping others.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Debra. She is survived by her husband Robert Noice. Together they enjoyed vacations in Pinetop, Corvette rides, basketball games, and dinners with friends. She is also survived by her former spouse Al Sinclair; her son Lance (Megan) Sinclair, who was by her side when she died; her daughter Amber (Jeremy) Logan; and her stepchildren Brad (Christine) Noice and Brandy (David) Lidbeck. She is cherished by the grandchildren who called her Nana: Morgan, Cole, and Patrick Sinclair; Lorelei, Jude, and Layla Logan; Jordyn and Lacey Noice; and Josiah, Levi, and Titus Lidbeck. Additionally, she is survived by her sister Kathy Coffey.
Connie was a faithful Catholic and a blessing to those who knew her. She loved her family and friends and treated them by sharing her baking and handmade treasures. She used to say that taking care of people "is my happy." Connie will be remembered and missed. A funeral mass will be held on October 1, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Parish, 330 West Coral Gables Drive, Phoenix. Interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 23015 Cave Creek Road, Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Connie's memory to Vikings United/Unified Sports at Sunnyslope High School (https://az-glendaleunion.intouchreceipting.com/).
