Salvador Alcazar, 64, of Phoenix, AZ passed away October 10th, 2021 in the comfort of his home surrounded by loved ones. He was diagnosed with FTD (Frontal Temporal Dementia) in 2014 and after 7 long years of fighting, he is finally at peace. He showed tremendous bravery and courage throughout the duration of his disease.
Salvador was born January 31, 1957, in Mexico, but lived most of his life in the US. Although his life was short, it was full! The outdoors was one of Sal's favorite places to be. He loved Hiking, the River and Lake, Swimming, BBQing and spending time with family and friends. Sal was a Hard Worker and worked multiple jobs over the years. He spent most of his time in the Restaurant Industry and dedicated 20+ years to The Fish Market in Phoenix, AZ up until the time he became ill.
Salvador will be remembered for being a kind and loving Man. Family meant everything to him. He was married for 25 years to Janet Alcazar and they raised 2 daughters together. He is survived by his Daughter, Son-in-Law and Grandson, Maria, Ryan and Nolan Schroeder, his Daughter Veronica Alcazar, his Brothers and Sisters Leticia, Alfredo, Carmela, Alfonso, Maricela, Soledad, Maria Elena, Jose, Javier, David, Blanca, and Eddie, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, October 14th from 6-8 pm at Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, followed by The Celebration of Life Friday, October 15th at 11 am at La Casa De Cristo in Scottsdale, AZ. Flowers may be sent to Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary and Cemetery at 6500 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85254. Salvador was very proud to be a Champions Club Member for the Walk to the End Alzheimer's.
