Maureen T. Walsh, 89, passed away on June 11, 2022 at her residence in Peoria, AZ. Maureen was born on November 28, 1932, the second of three children, to John and Mary (McCann) Malloy in Boston, Massachusetts. Maureen is a proud graduate of Emanuel College. After moving her family to Arizona in 1967, she went on to work at John C. Lincoln Hospital and later at the Pointe Hilton.

Maureen was predeceased by her husband of more than 60 years, Peter. She is survived by her six children: Joe (wife Marilynn), Kerry Keegan, Deirdre Syms, Anne Slawson (husband Jerry), Kevin (wife Bea), and David. Maureen is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Christine Terry, Emily Keegan-Maurer, Maggie Walsh-Deaver, Kathleen Keegan, James Walsh, Will Syms, Ryan Slawson, Brad Walsh, Brenna Slawson, and Matthew Walsh. Maureen was also the proud great grandmother to Jack Deaver and Henry Maurer and also has many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Hansen Mortuary Chapel at 8314 N. 7th St, Phoenix on Sunday, July 10 from 1-4 PM. A funeral mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 9728 W Palmeras Dr, Sun City, on Monday, July 11 at 10:30 AM. Interment will immediately follow the mass at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
