Obituary
Dona Ann Nutini passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in Phoenix, Arizona after a long illness. She was 65 years old.
The daughter of Albert and Esther (Migliori) Nutini, Dona was born on November 12, 1957 in Providence, Rhode Island. Dona graduated from Bristol High School in 1975. Dona then followed in her father's footsteps, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Providence College in 1979 and a juris doctor degree from Georgetown Law School in Washington, DC in 1982.
Dona married the love of her life, Cornele Overstreet in her hometown of Bristol, Rhode Island on August 21, 1993. They met while both were working for the National Labor Relations Board. Dona continued her practice of labor and employment law throughout her career as a partner and off counsel for several prominent Phoenix law firms.
Dona loved music and was an accomplished guitarist. She also enjoyed travel and photography. She is well known for her devotion to her beloved Boston Red Sox.
Dona is survived by her husband Cornele Overstreet of Scottsdale, Arizona, and her step-son Christopher Overstreet of Phoenix, Arizona; her brother Robert Nutini and his wife Paula of Bristol, R.I.; her brother Mark Nutini and his wife Jamie Ioos of Las Vegas, Nevada; her nephew Gerald Nutini and his wife Katy, along with their; son Ezra of Bristol, Rhode Island.; her nephew Michael Nutini and his wife Alexandra, along with their daughter Avery of Warren, Rhode Island., and nephew John Arnold, Jr. of Monticello, Kentucky. She is also survived by her several loving cousins.
Dona is preceded in death by her father Albert and mother Esther, as well as her stepfather Bernard Demara.
A memorial to Dona's life will be held at Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale, Arizona on April 14 at 11:00 am. A reception will follow the service.
