Robert Hall Sanchez, affectionately known as Bob, was born on April 15, 1933, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Tony and Ruth Sanchez. Sadly, Bob passed away on May 14, 2023. He leaves behind a remarkable legacy and a loving family.
Bob pursued his education at the University of Utah, where he excelled in both baseball and basketball. He was a true athlete at heart. Bob graduated with a BA in Education from the University of Utah. His thirst for knowledge led him to further his education, and he went on to achieve a Master's degree as well as a Ph.D. from Arizona State University.
Throughout his career, Bob made a significant impact in the field of education. He dedicated himself to shaping young minds and inspiring future generations. He served as a teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent in various educational institutions in Utah, Arizona, and California. Bob's commitment to education was unwavering, and his contributions to the field will always be remembered.
Bob was blessed with a loving partner, Sandra W Sanchez, with whom he shared 45 wonderful years of marriage. Their love and support were the foundation of Bob's happiness and success.
Bob is survived by his beloved children, Laurie Jorgenson (husband Paul), CharLe Cartledge (husband Chris), Marcy Sanchez, and Robert Sanchez. His grandchildren, Chris Risi (wife Joslyn), Matthew Risi (wife Nikol), Jake Jorgenson, Cole Cartledge, Carsen Cartledge, Ashley Richards (husband Mack), Jessica Sanchez, and Kobe Sanchez, were all a source of immense pride and joy for him. Bob's great-grandchildren, Beckham and Ellie Richards, and Valentina Risi brought him immeasurable happiness.
Robert Hall Sanchez will forever be remembered for his passion for education, his athletic prowess, and his unwavering dedication to his family. His legacy will continue to inspire and impact the lives of those he touched. Bob's presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
