Ernest (Ernie the Barber) Schaubel passed away recently in Phoenix. He was a barber locally his whole adult life, and he loved being a people person and talking to his customers. He considered them his second family. He loved camping, dirt biking, and all outdoor activities, especially his trips to Colorado. But most of all he loved his family.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gail and his daughters Laurie Heath (Darren) and Ginger Busker (Daniel). He was met in heaven by his youngest daughter Debora. He has 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was larger than life - he loved and he was loved. See you later Poppa.

A service celebrating Ernie's life will be held June 3, 2023, with a visitation starting at 3:00PM, service at 4:00PM, and a reception following. Please no black, dress happy.
