Olga M. Jarombek, 96, passed away on January 12, 2019 in Phoenix, AZ.
Born in New York, New York on May 6, 1922 she was the daughter of John and Mary Jarombek. She graduated from Stamford High School in 1940. After graduation she worked at Norma Hoffman Ball Bearing Factory during WWII. She then worked for Pitney Bowes in Stamford, CT until 1957. Upon her move to Sarasota, FL she was employed at Stottlemyre and Shumacher Lumber Company and worked as a bookkeeper. In 1979 she moved to Phoenix, AZ with her mother Mary and her brother John.
She moved to The Terraces in September of 1990 where she made many friends and enjoyed volunteering in the country store. She was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She will be remembered for her caring and kind personality.
She is survived by her sister, Margaret Munhall, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Steve, John and Frank Jarombek.
The Viewing/visitation will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 4-7pm at Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. 7th St, Phoenix, AZ 85020. The funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 12pm at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 8620 N. 7th St, Phoenix, AZ 85020. Interment to follow at Holy Redeemer Catholic Cemetery at 2:00 pm 23015 N Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85024.
